Monday Ramble

Servers reworking emails... reconfiguring things... reconfiguring our lives. Installed a bunch of memory into my mom's machine over the weekend. It's amazing how simple it is to make someone's day. Mental note: don't forget to make people happy from time to time.

Reworked the handouts... must shave tommorow. Work on that hygeine thing... fear not I shower everyday and all that but personal things ie shaving, combing, etc. just aint that high on the old important meter.

Monday Class

Class time... teaching today... just a little tutorial of a thing. Zen and the basics of an html editor. Why oh why the world needs to have this demonstrated to them... i'll never know... Work sometimes is about reinventing things over and over and over again. It keeps us busy, you know. Gives us things to do... oh well I could be killing chickens in some poultry house somewhere or canning salmon. Not that those are bad professions mind you... they are just not for me, at least at this point in my life. Alas the days of scraping up dead animals and working pointless, low paying jobs has come to an end.

Now it's big bucks and benefits baby. Sign me up for that 403-B that's what I'm talking about. Not really, it's just a ramble and a rant. Enough ranting for now... got to go to work... i'll be back... hopefully soon

Car's in the shop. Salesman checking you out, wondering why you look familar, not sure if you're a sale or not. Flashing back to the days of retail, treat everyone well and people will come back every time. People, meeting people is it really all that hard. Saying hello is half the battle, say just hello, hi, konnichi-wa.

Simplicity like the brand of clothes patterns states, simple. Persons sitting, waiting, waiting for their autos. Discussions of business and neighborhoods. Things right in the world, things wrong. Rambling on about this guys and that guy. Places not up to code, not fitting standards.

The typical keeping up with Joneses conversation. Blah blah blah, how many times have the words these guys are saying, how many times have they been spoken before. None of my business but still.

Get the car in, do your business, the get to work. Check the clock, write some words. Check the clock, a couple of more words. Pumped in music drifts fromt the ceiling.

Country, talking about the country, the great west. Potential of knocking down all those trees. They're just in the way, right.

Some grow wise in their years, others complacent. Grant me the grace to stay funny. The world will go it's way, perhaps a small change that will snowball. That is what I hope.

Working... on little handouts. It's odd typing up these handouts, the whole concept of typing away. Sometimes I miss the feel of pens and pencils, paper so pure. Then again half the time I can't read what I just wrote so...

Buddha and Pikachu looking over me making sure I breathe and function. Got a couple of pictures from mom that were done by my brother. He needed to send them off to someone, anyway once again I fixed things up and helped out. Hopefully my bro will get something out of this.

Where are we going and why do some of us do the things we do. A couple of days ago there was this girl sitting outside of the grocery store on a bench. She had her hands covering her face making her look like the saddest girl in the world. The weird part was she didn't look that sad, not really. Maybe she was just hot who knows.

After I finished at the story and loaded the car with my new cargo I drove by the bookstore and what to my surprise. The same girl. Different bench, same hunched over look. Man did she have that routine down.

Got to get caught up on sleep. Vacations are killing me... all running around and no sleep. It beats being really stressed out. Class is almost done this week. New show at Gallery 210, the Distant Relatives of Johnny Naugahyde... will have to go... starts this fall...
