Friday Nights Are All Right

Up and down goes the weather... up and down goes the top of... my mind is in the gutter yet again. In all seriousness though, does the world totally suck or what? Not in that teenage angst, emo I'm miserable but have cool glasses and an amazing hair cut suck. Rather in that sneaky underhanded we're better than you in oh so many ways. Understand. Funny how some people leave things behind and go on with life while others mire in the lava pit. Oh well, it's the weekend time to spin down relax, park the head. Sure it's Passover and the stuff with the family but in retrospect it's really great seeing some of these people. Besides I'll hang out with the folks, make some stuff with my mom. What a momma's boy but hey aren't boys supposed to love their moms. Anyway, if the rain holds out there is more gardening and yard word to do. First enlightenment then the laundry. So true. Pick up the house and perhaps recenter my mind. What that means who knows.

I've been thinking lately about cars. Not in that SUV totally blows way or get out of the way you blank blank blank but how cars are truly the American thing. Rock 'n roll, jazz and rubber flying down a piece of pavement at whatever speed I want thank you very much. Bigger is better and it's even better in Technicolor. Funny how technology makes life enjoyable and a pain in the ass all at the same time. Actually it just makes you wait like anything. Wait for this to format, this to copy, this to burn, this to whatever - blah blah. Oh well what are you supposed to do go out in nature and use a pencil on a piece of paper. Bring the noise, screw the birds. Nature usually just smells like rot and death anyway. Oh sweet nature with your tendency towards chaos and entropy. A true force to be reckoned and not messed around with, that's for sure. Avoid the rot, get on our bikes and ride. A pretty ride into the sunset.
